Legacy Physical Therapy, LLC is a privately owned, outpatient physical therapy clinic specializing in women’s health and pelvic rehabilitation. Our practice is unique in the St. Louis area and rare in the industry. We work with men and women at all stages of life to restore them to their optimal functional levels. Our private treatment rooms, soothing lighting, and tranquil décor are designed to provide privacy and ensure a welcoming, therapeutic experience every time you visit our clinic.

Meet Our Team

Kalisiak FamilyBrooke Kalisiak PT, DPT, WCS, President of Legacy Physical Therapy LLC, is a board certified women's health physical therapist with a passion for treating women. She has a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Washington University in Saint Louis.

Brooke has received several awards for her academic and volunteer activities:

  • Bob Hickok Merit Scholarship from Washington University Program in Physical Therapy
  • Directors Award for leadership, scholar, and commitment to the profession from Washington University Program in Physical Therapy
  • Lorraine F. Lake Award given to a graduating member of the post-professional curriculum who exhibits commitment to learning and the profession of physical therapy from Washington University Program in Physical Therapy
  • 2012 Section on Women's Health Volunteer of the Year

Brooke is a mother, a scholar, and an athlete. She completed her undergraduate degree at Princeton University in New Jersey, where she played NCAA Division I basketball for four years. She has specialty training in women’s health issues through the American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) Women’s Health Section and through the Hermann and Wallace Institute. A sampling of her specialized coursework includes:

  • Rehabilitation Needs of Patients with Breast Cancer
  • Pelvic Physical Therapy, Level 1, 2, 3
  • Physical Therapy for Musculoskeletal Dysfunction in Pregnancy and Postpartum
  • Movement Impairments Related to Pain in the Pelvic Region

In 2012 she became 1 of only a handful of board-certified women's health physical therapists in Saint Louis. She continues to have close ties with the faculty at Washington University’s Program in Physical Therapy, and enjoys helping the next generation of therapists learn the profession by lab assisting, being a clinical educator, and participating with the Women's Health Physical Therapy residency program.

Jamie Kocher PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University. Since graduating in 2008, Jamie hasJamie Family Picture practiced in outpatient clinical settings treating patients of all ages from pediatrics to adults. More recently, Jamie has narrowed her focus to treatment of pediatric incontinence and constipation and women's health conditions. She has specialized training in women's health through the Herman and Wallace Institute. She plans to continue her education in the areas of pregnancy and postpartum care, chronic pelvic pain, and sacroiliac dysfunction.

Jamie is a fitness enthusiast, wife, and mother of 2 daughters. Jamie is an active member of the Advisory Board for the Doisy College of Health Sciences Program in Physical Therapy at Saint Louis University. She is also an adjust instructor for the Program in Physical Therapy at Saint Louis University. Jamie enjoys teaching and remains closely tied to area universities by providing clinical education to student physical therapists.

Lisa Telthorst, LMT, Owner of Life in Balance Massage is a licensed & certified massage therapist, and graduate of The Healing Arts Center of St. Louis.  She offers a range of therapeutic and issue-based massage services, as well as general relaxation massage therapy. Lisa is comfortable treating patients of all ages and circumstances, and coordinating their care with referring physicians, chiropractors, dentists and neurologists to help them attain an excellent level of health.

Rosie Vogt, Office Manager, is a mother, wife, and licensed Zumba instructor. Rosie is a customer service veteran with over 15 years of experience in patient services and office management in plastic surgery and opthalmology. Her focus was on taking care of patients and making doctors successful by improving office efficiencies without sacrificing patient care. She looks forward to greeting you at Legacy Physical Therapy
