Orthopedics & Sports Injuries

Injury, pain, or discomfort can interfere with your daily activities and reduce your quality of life.  Legacy Physical Therapy provides treatment for all types of orthopedic conditions and injuries to the back, neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles and feet.

General Conditions:

Osteoarthritis: Degenerative joint disease (DJD); progressive destruction of articular cartilage and the formation of bone at the margin of the joint.

Osteoporosis: A group of disorders, which have as their common denominator, a reduction of bone mass per unit of bone volume.

Fibromyalgia: Chronic muscle pain syndrome with no known cause or cure, considered "inflammation of the soft tissue"; body and muscle aches often accompanied by overwhelming fatigue and pelvic pain; symptoms may wax and wane with no discernible cause link to treat fibromyalgia page.

How Physical Therapy Can Help:

Legacy Physical Therapy will evaluate your pain or condition and design a safe, effective therapy plan that is customized for your individual needs.  Potential treatment may include: therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular reeducation, manual therapy, modalities, range of motion and/or strengthening exercises, and patient education. We also will show you how to prevent further injury and how to continue your progress with an effective home program to prevent re-injury.
