SELF CARE - Legacy Physical Therapy

As a mom, women often times are pulled in many different directions. We tend to focus more on our family and our kids and not as much on ourselves. However, it is important for us to take care of ourselves so that we can better take care of our family. Self care is not selfish.

We cannot take care of others well if we do not take care of ourselves. I wanted to talk to you a little bit about some potential things that you can be doing for self care.

  • Go for a walk outside
  • Read a good book
  • Get a massage
  • Pamper yourself with a manicure or pedicure
  • Go see a movie
  • Unplug from the digital world for an hour
  • Try a new class
  • Try a new work out
  • Take a long bath or shower

These are just a few tips and suggestions.  Self care is finding something that you like or love and that you can find time to fit in on a regular basis. The more that you take care of yourself, the better off that you are going to be able to take care of your family and your kiddos.
