Who is Up for a Run? - Legacy Physical Therapy

Who is Up for a Run?

As spring weather nears, I always get the itch to be outside and be active. Now if you know me, you know that I am not a runner by nature, but I continue to try to motivate myself to run more. One of my good friends is training for the Saint Louis Half Marathon in April and that has got be thinking that it is about time to train for another race, whether I like it or not. I do not pretend to be motivated enough to train for a half marathon, but I am up for a 5k. Who else wants to join me???

I have a few upcoming 5k races in the Saint Louis area listed below.

If you have a goal of getting healthier in 2011, training for a 5K is a great way to start. You do not even have to be a runner. It is okay to walk. I encourage everyone to pick an event and sign up.

If anyone is interested in doing a group run/walk 1 or 2 times per week over the coming weeks, please email me at brooke@legacytherapystl.com. It is always easier to train in a group. Besides, what better way to train than with your physical therapist by your side!
